As part of the Customer Care team, the key purpose of this role is to contribute to the commercial viability of the business.

Key activities include:
  • Management of high value complex orders and contracts to ensure they are executed in a timely and cost effective manner, and in line with Commercial procedures maintaining accountability from order input to after sales.
  • Liaison with internal and Affiliate Departments including Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing and Accounts Payable to ensure orders/contracts are delivered in the most profitable and efficient way
  • Securing effective customer relationships by acting as contact on all aspects of the order and attending customer meetings as required;
  • Regular liaison with Customers site staff to ensure deadlines are met and issues resolved promptly to avoid costly delay’s
  • Ensuring timely response and resolution of customer queries and complaints
  • Preparation of internal and external reports required by the Business
  • Responsibility for coordination of selected Commercial processes
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Candidates will be educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent with grades A to C in Maths and English. A working knowledge of Contract Law would be Beneficial. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel is necessary. A good knowledge of SAP will be essential.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their passion for customer service excellence and ideally have previous experience in a similar role. Attention to detail is paramount. The candidate will have a can-do attitude; be flexible with the ability to adapt to a changing working environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

This role is based in our offices near the Eastleigh town centre. The address is Prysmian Cables & Systems Limited, Chickenhall Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 6YU. There are good transport links to Eastleigh and the site is approximately 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We are able to offer free car parking next to our offices.
