What you’ll do:
The Senior Application Developer and Analyst requires an individual to provide expertise in the development and maintenance of a range of applications.
The responsibilities of this role include design, development, testing and support. You will be expected to contribute to project plans by defining tasks and estimates, producing technical specifications and providing regular progress updates.
Assignment depending, you’ll be expected to be capable of technically leading a small team of developers by: managing the work for the team, ensuring quality for the team, leading design for the team and mentoring more junior staff members.
You will remain aware of procedural and technological advances in order to make recommendations for improvement and to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
It is critical that the Senior Application Developer be flexible and be able to deal with ambiguity and change. A strong team working ethic and a ‘Can do’ attitude is essential to be successful in this role.
This role is within the Operations team and may be rostered to be on-call to support the operation.
